Your Good News Stories!

These stories are great!  But, for those who don't know -- Salvation is what happens when you give your love to Jesus and and follow Him. Jesus told us that He was the ONLY way to be forgiven of our sins and the only way to enter Heaven. When we trust in Jesus and ask Him to save us, He will!  And once Jesus saves you, you will always be part of His family!  It is never about how good YOU can be... but how good JESUS is.

Please, don't confuse happy feelings and miracles with the need for you to give your heart to Jesus.  Happy feelings come and neat things can happen - but those don't make us saved - but they DO remind us to PRAISE our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

How do I trust Jesus as my Savior?

Have you accepted Jesus as YOUR Savior? I hope so! If you have, why don't you tell other kids about it! I know I'd like to hear about it, and you might even help someone else want to ask Jesus into THEIR heart, too!  Just let me know.

Just thought i might write on hear to put in a good word for you and to yea....tell how i was saved. I got saved when i was only 5 years old. We were catholic before that, the change started with my mother then my father and then me. I was sitting in my driveway in the car, asking my mom what happened to daddy that he changed so much. She explained all about Jesus, and i accepted him as Christ that day, but i never really followed to much in my beliefs in later years, i think because i took God for granted, growing up in a church and all. So I finally decided I was really serious just about 2 to 3 years ago. I am 16 now (going on 17) and I am on fire for Jesus not literally...lol) anyway i still have lots and lots of questions that are needing answers and well one day i found this web site and it's helped me out alot, a real lot. If it weren't for him.....I don't think i even wanna think of where I'd be right now without his help, and I've still got alot of questions too....

Hi, I was saved at my church in Ohio. My dad was a preacher and he told me about the Lord. When I was 10 he died of cancer but I know I will see him in heaven someday. I loved being saved so much I started a club at my school and we do bible studies and tell others about the lord. Well got to go. Sincerely, hanging on 4 God

I was in bed one night when I said, " Mommy, can I ask Jesus into my heart?" She said, " Of course, go right ahead and do it." And so I did. After I did, I felt really good.

I have been saved since I was three years old. I am very happy with my life ;I love being saved Jesus has been very good to me . I love him very much and I know he loves me very much to. I know the lord watches over me even while I am having a hard time in my life .

I am 8 yeas old and was saved very recently, last month in fact. I don't have much of a story to tell. At our church we had vacation bible school, we had just started that church, it was the last night of it and when the preacher asked if you were saved or if you weren't I raised my hand when he asked if you weren't. All the other nights I had been shy. When we got home I really started trying to be more of a Christian. Know I play tug-of-war about sinning. I think I grow more Christian every day.

I was saved this year. I am twelve. I'd been having some troubles. I wasn't sure of my beliefs, I wasn't really sure if I believed. Sure, I went to church every week. But that was partly because I was forced to go.
I sinned greatly; using his name in vain, cursing, stealing money from my mom just for stuff I wanted like candy. But then, I started going out with a strong Christian. He believed and was sure he believed. He never questioned anything having to do with being Christian. I loved him a lot. Then I figured that I would lose him if I didn't start believing. I started watching church services on TV, so on the weekend I would have the enrichment of about 3 different church services, about different things. They read from the Bible. So I got my Bible, and started participating. Then I started going online and learning about the Bible and started memorizing verses. I started believing and my beliefs kept on getting stronger and stronger. I now get bible verses sent to me daily, I get a weekly newsletter every Friday online from Christianity Online (or CO for short). I take an online Bible Study study, and have downloaded software to help me memorize bible verses.
I gradually became a Christian. It did take a long time. But I found my beliefs on that long road to Christianity. I feel better about myself and I know there's always someone who loves and someone I can talk to.

I was sitting in Chapel one day while the preacher was preaching and he asked a question I'd never heard before. "Are you Saved?" As I thought about that question I listened to what else the preacher had to say. He said if I wasn't saved I need to be because I might go to hell! Afterward I got permission from my teacher to go talk to the preacher. We talked about what I should do to be saved. The story he told and the evidence that he had from the bible was so convincing I got saved. The Bible is truth because God told it to men then told them to write it down. I got saved March10,1995. From then to now I have lived my life by serving the Lord Jesus Christ. God Bless everyone! Christina

my name is Katie and I live in Texas, east. in the USA I am 11 and in the 5th grade I am glad I found this web page its the best ! When I was going to get baptized all of the sudden my brother wanted to also! wee wanted our grandparents to see us get baptized but they were in Africa doing mission work (they are missionaries) but then my grandma died in a car wreck and my grandpa came and baptized me ( the preacher let him) I thought that was neat!

We met Jesus after our Mom met him. He saved her life this year too! She had colon cancer. Jesus totally healed her without any medicine!!! He even came to see her while she was in the hospital to help her fight her battle. She saw him in a dream and her nurses said she was giggling in her sleep. He made her strong. We are very happy.

Jesus helps me every day and my brother. He changed our hearts. Now we feel bad when we do something dishonest. I'm glad Jesus forgives us. He is a good friend. Our family is very thankful for what He's done for us. I get to keep my mom because of him. I would have been very sad if she died. My brother prayed for Jesus to use the doctor's hands when she had her operation. He was only 9 then. That was smart.

My mom got a very bad infection on her leg 2 years ago. The spider that bit her could cause different side effects, one was death. We prayed a whole lot , the rash just got bigger and bigger. The next day the doctor called and wanted us to come to the hospital.  I was scared, but there was no need. We had to pick her up from the hospital!

I was saved when I was 5. I am home schooled. We like computers and games but it is hard to find games that are fun and not bad.

in December I got in trouble at school my mom came and took me home we sat on the floor and talked about how I made Jesus sad we prayed for Jesus to come into my heart and to help me to be good now I know that even if I do bad things, Jesus will forgive me and help me to do right

Hi my name is Dawn Rossiter and I am 9 years old. I was saved when I was 7 my Mom told me about God's love for me.

It all started when I was born. I was born stillborn (meaning I was born dead). But I know that God has something for me. Only because he let me live. After three days of living. My farther lifted me up to God. And thanked God for letting me live. So when I was three my farther and my mother told me about this. And I understood what he said. So therefore I was so happy I became a Christian, and let God, my new savior into my heart. Since then I have been so grateful.

hi my name is Katie I stole when I was 8 and before I could give it back my friend moved I prayed and asked Jesus to forgive m sins every night because I did not really know hat he would forgive me until I was a little older now I am 11 and haven't stolen anymore from hat long bad experience that I had one I am saved and have a whole new life :-)

I go to A Christian camp. This year the second to last day all the kids in my cabin got saved. PRAISE THE LORD! I had already been saved. Actually it had been my 1st anniversary of excepting Jesus. I felt like a big sis. All the other girls were crying. I asked them why and they said they were over whelmed. I sat down and started crying with them. When the counselors came back in. We were in the middle of reading Psalm23. That night ended raiding the kitchen.

It all started when I was five year's old and living with my family on custard road in a apartment as I said I was five year's old and everyone in my family was a Christian but me so my dad called me and my sister to come sit up on his knee and told my sister to go get her beginner bible so she did and we read the story about Jesus and how he died on the cross and when we finished dad me to fold my hand's and bow my head and repeat after him so I did. And that's how I learned to be a Christian.

I was saved when I was 3or 4.My mom and dad took me into their room and read to me from the Bible. I could talk really good then so I repeated after my mom and dad. It really helped. I have got saved lots of times. And your only supposed to do it once. I am 9 right now.

That's right Jacquelyn!  You only get saved ONCE!  Isn't it exciting to know that Christ forgives and accepts us the first time we ask Him?  When we sin we don't "feel" saved, but that doesn't change the fact that we are!

I am 14 years old and my church has this HUGE youth group of about 300 teenagers.
One Wednesday it was two days after my best friends dad died and I had gone to Reload (that is what it is called) and I was sitting on the floor next my best friend and the pastor was preaching to us. It was the most amazing speech ever. At the end he asked if any unsaved teens wanted to go out and see them self. So, of course I did. I had already been saved, but I had no clue how to get closer to God. I learned and now I have a strong walk with Christ and each day it gets stronger and stronger.
